Hellllloooo!
I'm having a blast here if you can't already tell. I am in love with the city of Roseville, I've noticed though everyone in Detroit has a dog and it doesn't matter what size they are they're ALL inside dogs! Sister Mickelsen and I have made it a game to see how many people we can talk to that don't have a dog haha. Sister Mickelsen is awesome by the way, she's the best trainer/companion ever! She kind of reminds me of Randee in the way she acts, maybe that's why I love her so much. It's gone up to 20 degrees and man does it feel good! Sister Mickelsen talks about how the summers and falls here are so pretty and I can't wait for this snow to melt, I've kind of forgotten what the sun feels like.
We've been teaching the Webb family once a week and it's been going pretty well, all of them are very interested in what we have to say. Genna is a little crazy sometimes, but I love her to death, she gets distracted between Michael (the son that has autism) and her cats haha. Glenn is such a good kid and he's agreed to prepare himself to be baptized on April 12th so keep him in your prayers! The only thing holding them back is going to church because they got kicked out of a church because of Michaels autism a few years ago so they're a little hesitant to go even though we told them that wasn't going to happen. I know as soon as they come they'll love it.
As I've said before a lot of miracles are happening here and they just keep piling up. We're also teaching a lady named Latriece and her daughter Elise and they've been responding very well. Latriece wants her daughter to get involved with good friends and so we told her to come to mutual on Tuesday's, so hopefully things work out. We also went tracting on this street Madison and we got the feeling we should go to the other side of the street and we met this lady named Karen who said that she had been praying the day before for help through her trails and we showed up on her doorstep, how cool is that?! Also we were looking at names of referrals that we could go see and both of us had the strong feeling to see Evelin first and then Rose, so we drove to Evelin's house but it was abandoned so we were confused. As we were walking back to the car we got the impression to knock on the house next door so we did and (get this) the lady's name just happened to be Rose! It just goes to show you that Heavenly Father's hand is in everything we do and I've been able to see it over and over again since I've been here.
On Sunday we went to church and we have the smallest ward ever! There was only like 30 people there because the rest of the ward is inactive. The people there are super sweet though, and everyone keeps telling us how excited they are to have sisters in the area, even the little kids try and spend as much time as they can with us, they're so cute! I love the ward and I think it will be a good match for the Webb family because they don't really like big groups so I think it's perfect.
I miss you all and think about you every single day and Jaimee, that's so amazing about your grades keep up the good work dude! I miss having my cute little buddy around:) oh and by the way if you guys get a chance watch this Mormon message video "Testimony of the Book of Mormon" by Jeffory R. Holland, best thing I've ever seen in my life!
love you all and the church is true!
