Sup everyone! Alright so transfers happened right? Guess who my companion is....SIster Price!! Heck yeah! we were so freaking excited when we saw we were together again haha. It made the transition easier I think haha. I love her to death and I'm super excited to serve with her again, Heavenly Father rocks! I'm in Northville now which is literally right next to Plymouth so that's cool. Sister Kunzler stayed there so she'll take good care of it. Anyway before I tell you about awesome Northville I have to tell you my last day in Plymouth haha. So I had my very first coney dog, yes mom I knew you would like that, it was super delicious! We went to a super cute diner for lunch to celebrate our last day together. Then after that we had a hot fudge cream puff which tastes as amazing as it sounds. It's pretty much the best thing ever. Then we saw like everybody so me and Sis. Taylor could say goodbye and so Brian and Sister Armstrong had us over for dinner, it was super good, we had ribs because Brian is obsessed with BBQ which I didn't mind one bit haha. He also had us try boiled okra haha yeah it sounds disgusting right? I promised myself before I left on my mission that I would try anything at least once, well obviously Brian knew that so I had to try it and although it looked super sketchy it actually didn't taste that bad haha. Would I eat it again? Probably not haha but I tried it. That family's awesome! Then we saw Sam, the guy at the gas station, again haha. he's so cool, he had so many questions it was awesome and he was so open to learning more. He's elect and super prepared haha Sister Kunzler is totally going to baptize him for sure. Anyway Northville is great! There's a lot of boss people here. We're teaching this guy James, he's from Detroit so he's crazy haha but I love him to death. He's on date for Dec. 13th so keep him in your prayers! He says he loves going to church haha he's like in his 40's but the only hang up is he lives with his girlfriend, so that will be interesting but we'll see how it goes. Also we had dinner a couple nights ago with this guy Ernie and his son David. Ernie is less active but only because of health reasons but he's super nice. I don't think his son is a member, he's like in his 20's but he's cool too. They took us out for sushi which was super good, it was another test of faith for me seeing as I don't like fish haha. I tried it though and it was really good, I even tried eel and that was actually really good. I tried the raw fish one and that was gross, still not a fish person but the cooked fish wasn't bad at all haha. We also had exchanges a couple days ago which was good, we saw a lot of miracles and got some pretty sweet new investigators. I also got a blessing from President Gerber and it's helped a lot with my depression so that's good. President Gerber is pretty much the best person ever, he's definitely an inspired man from God that's for sure. He said exactly what I needed to hear he's a good mission father haha. We also are teaching this cool guy from India, his name's Par and he's super open, he wants to read the Book of Mormon and he's super cool. he actually used to talk with Jehova's witnesses like 2 years ago and they converted him to Christianity which is cool, but he lost contact with them and then he met us haha. I guess JW's are good for something haha jk, they're cool. We also are teaching the boss kid Anton. Holy cow I love this kid, he's 18 and super interested, Sister Price met him on exchange and he said he wanted a Book of Mormon and so we met with him yesterday but forgot the book haha, I know terrible missionaries, but we were able to teach him the restoration and he was totally accepting to that. We got through the pamphlet and he was like "man I feeling really good right now, I don't know why." haha we were like BECAUSE IT'S THE SPIRIT! we didn't say that though but that's what I was thinking haha. We asked him if he would pray at the end and he was really nervous and hesitant about it because he never prayed out loud. Sister Price said a prayer first and after she was done he was like "Okay I can do it." he prayed and it was awesome then he looked at me and was like "Your turn." haha so I prayed as well. The lesson was totally spirit lead though and it was great! That kid is definitely getting baptized for sure! We're meeting with him again on Wednesday whoot! We also met with a less active girl named Tia, she's like 32 and she's ready to come back to the church. Her whole family are members and her mom is still super active and has had some super sweet dreams. Heavenly Father talks to her that way it's kind really awesome. Anyway Tia's cool, she's super spiritual and super funny black girl. She tells you how it is haha I love it! it reminds me of Roseville haha, which reminds me, the sisters that came on exchanges with us are serving in Roseville and so I was asking them a whole bunch of questions because that area's like my baby. Anyway they're still working with the Blansette's and they're reading the book of Mormon which is cool but the biggest news...THEY'RE MEETING WITH GENNA WEBB AGAIN! I'm so excited about that, and apparently Genna is progressing really well so my fingers are crossed! Anyway I'm doing great and I'm loving it here! Being a missionary is the best thing of my life and it's going by super fast. I know these last 9 months are going to fly by! Anyway I love you all and the gospel is soooo true! Have a wonderful week! Sister Gordon Here's my new address: 44620 North Hills Dr. Northville, MI 48167
