Email March 9, 2015

Hey everyone! Alright so this week was great! we got transfer calls and sister Griffin is leaving, we're really sad but I know she'll do great in her next area. so a little side story, we want to see John the apostle. Haha yeah I know, but because he's translated we totally could so we may or may not have prayed about it haha. So we've been studying John and we're kind of obsessed with him, there was one night where we totally thought that he was in our apartment haah but turns out Sister Reeves just left a light on haha. Anyway so we were tracting and pretty soon sister Reeves yells "John!" haha I can't tell you how bad sister Griffin and I freak out but she didn't see John it was just John st. haha so we decided to tract it. The first house we knocked on we met a college student who is totally prepared, she doesn't live in our area though but she's going to contact the missionaries where she's at. Then we were in this trailer park and we knock on one and this guy answers and says he's an Atheist, we said ok and asked if he knew anyone that would be interested in a message about Jesus Christ and he points to a trailer at the end of the road and he starts closing the door and right before he closes it he says "By the way I'm John." hahah oh my gosh we freak out so bad! So we go to the trailer he pointed to and a lady answers who's from Detroit so she talked A LOT! But she let us in and she's like "oh you were the Christian people that left a note on my door." We were like no we didn't but the only reason she let us in was because of that note. John totally put the note there!!! it's awesome haha I love it. Then a really cool miracle happened. So sister Griffin picked a street to tract and it was another trailer park and sister Reeves says she felt like there was only one person we needed to see on that street. As soon as we say a prayer and get out of the car I point to the trailer right in front of us and said that's the one. I have never been more sure in my life. We knock on the door and a woman answers, we introduce ourselves and she says "no way, my fiancé's last name is Reeves." we're like no way haha so we start talking to her and it turns out that her fiancé is a member! He grew up in the church but has been less active for years, she brought out an old book of Mormon that he had in his room. We set up a time to meet again and we saw them last night, they're both awesome! Sam is pregnant and is due in July and they're planning on getting married sometime before that. We talked to them for a while and her fiance told us that no matter where he went missionaries always seemed to fine him haha. we were like I'm pretty sure that's a sign from God telling you to get your butt back in church haha and he agreed. We're seeing them again on Wednesday and he gave us his records and everything and she is going to take the lessons and it's awesome! Heavenly Father completely directed us right to them I have no doubt about that! Ahhh being a missionary is the best thing in the world!! I'm sorry that my email is so short but that was the biggest news that happened haha Anyway I hope you have a wonderful week, I know that Heavenly Father is watching over us and is in every single part of our lives!! I love you all and the gospel (incase you're wondering) is Soooooo true!!! Peace out! Sister Kellee Gordon
