hey Y'all! this week was freaking fantastic! St. Patrick's day was good, we had zone conference which was amazing! President Gerber talked about remembering who we are, it was probably my favorite thing ever. He talked about our calling in the Pre-Earth life, we were preordained for this time to be on a mission, teaching the gospel in the last days. Oh my gosh it was so good! President Gerber NEEDS to be an apostle haha he just does. Also I have so much exciting news! We saw one of our investigators and taught her about the book of Mormon. She said how she loves the way she feels as she goes to church and studies and everything and she feels like this is the right road for her to take. Bam! we instantly invited her to be baptized and now she's on date for April 18th!! She's incredible! She has all the apps on her phone and tablet and is ordering her own quad scriptures and her own scripture case and everything. Is she golden or what?! Then we were planning on having a throw down lesson with another investigator because honestly we wanted to drop him because he picked up drugs again but God told us no. So we saw him yesterday and prayed super hard on what to do and so we read the baptismal interview questions with him and he has a testimony about everything and we spent a lot of time talking about faith and how trusting God can help him overcome the temptations he's having. We made a goal sheet with him to help him quit smoking so he can be baptized on May 2nd. He agreed to it and made all the goals himself. Ahhh it was such good lesson, it just shows how much God loves him and wants him to be baptized, even though we wanted to give up God told us not to give up too quickly, He knows his children very well haha. We also saw some more investigators again and talked a lot about God's relationship with us because one of them has never been to church before in her life and she's been asking if there is a God. We taught her how to pray and committed them to say a kneeling prayer once a day. They showed up to Stake Conference and seemed to enjoy it. Bishop Stevenson who is the presiding bishop of the whole world basically was really good. They talked a lot about member missionary work which, because I'm biased, I enjoyed very much haha. It's been such a good week and we've seen so much success it's great! Grand Blanc is the promised land! haha just kidding, but it's pretty dang close! I absolutely love being a missionary if you didn't already know haha. I love y'all so much and hope you have an amazing week, God loves you and I do too! Gospel's true and God bless you all!
