Hey ya'll! Ok so this week was great as usual in Plymouth, I swear this area is amazing I love the people here so much! We found out that Ryan is moving to Tennessee, I'm a little sad but I think it will be good for him. He's got a job and everything lined up so I'm excited for him. Jerry is also progressing a little. It's funny we were planning for the week and we were really close to dropping him because he wasn't progressing but we didn't know what to do so we prayed and we felt pretty good about dropping him. We saw him the next day and before we got out of the car we prayed and just asked Heavenly Father to give us a sign if he wants us to keep teaching him. We started teaching him and we just asked him what he thought he's learned out of meeting with us. He was like "I've learned that there's too things most important in this life, faith and repentance." We were like wait what? He's never said anything like that before and we didn't even know if he was retaining anything that we were saying before but we all looked at each other and decided that, that was our sign haha. I love Jerry and he loves coming to church it's so cute haha, he's gonna get there someday. We also had exchanges and Sister Weber and Sister Rikard came, Sister Weber and I went out together for the first half of the day and it was really good. We talked for a long time in the car and she helped me out with a lot of stuff, she gave me a lot of advice and stuff, it was great. We decided to work on different things together and so far they've really helped. We found this awesome lady Cynthia. We knocked on her door and she said she was Christian but we started talking about the Book of Mormon and before we even got the full name out she was like "I'll read it." We were like what? You don't even know what it is yet haha. She seems awesome though and she's totally open so we're excited to go back and see her this week. We found a lot of good people with potential that day, miracles always happen on exchange day, we found 4 new investigators to teach, one is a family, yeah we're pumped! We're also doing this awesome lesson in member's homes. We're talking about the tree of life and inviting kids and their parents to invite their friends to the Halloween party coming up and the primary program next week. So far they've invited a lot of people, we're so excited, it's so good for nonmembers to come into the church building and see where we can worship and come on, you can't tell me that they wouldn't be able to feel the spirit in the primary program. It should be a big hit. We also got this cool idea where we're going to start teaching a class on Wednesday nights to members on how to do missionary work. We've got all sorts of activities planned to make it fun, it's gonna be great! Oh my goodness Brian Swanson is the best person alive. So we went to the funeral for Sally, she was Lutheran, it was the most terrifying thing ever. The pastor kept yelling and it was all super negative, there was no spirit in that building whatsoever, but it was good to be there for the Armstrong's. So We've been meeting with Brian as you know and we've been helping him rake leaves and stuff and Saturday we actually got to teach a lesson. We each took turns just kind of baring our testimonies and read scriptures on finding faith in our trials and stuff, it went really well. He agreed to having weekly lessons so we're excited for that but the most exciting part was last night. He called us and the first thing out of his mouth was "Hey so I'm coming to church next Sunday for the primary program." WHAAAT?! Yeah we had to do absolutely everything we could not to scream at the top of our lungs. Wait it gets better, he was like "so I don't know if you've noticed but I'm changing a lot." haha obviously we were like heck yeah we've noticed! He's been doing so good reading the Book of Mormon, he's doing it completely on his own and he'll send us scriptures and the last one he sent was about the resurrection. Can you see why I'm like exploding over here?? He was like "I respect you guys a lot for what you're doing, I've had a lot of missionaries knock on my door for years but right now i'm ready to come back, I'm slowly moving forward and I just wanted to thank you guys for what you're doing for me. I love you guys." AHHHHHH! BRIAN SWANSON IS COMING TO CHURCH!!! THE GOSPEL IS CHANGING PEOPLE'S LIVES! I love it so much!!!!! I'm literally dying here, we couldn't contain our excitement after he said that so we flipped out haha I'm pretty sure he thinks we're crazy but hey you know what? That's okay because HE'S COMING TO CHURCH! I can't stop saying that haha. He's also carving pumpkins with us next Monday haha. oh baby I love being a missionary! My heart can't handle anything oh my goodness, God is so good!! I love love love it! My dream is coming true! haha anyway I love you all so much keep being the best family and friends ever, have a wonderful miracle filled week! The gospel's true! just in case you were wondering haha.
