HEY! okay so transfer day is always stressful haha, especially when you got Sister Filly making all the excuses in the world to stay a missionary forever haha. She was freaking out that morning so bad she couldn't pack and I was like "Sister Fillmore, you're going to leave whether you're packed or not." haha she didn't want to believe it but she knew it was true so I helped her pack. She's gone now but she emailed me haha i love that girl so much! I got my trio, it's Sister Kunzler, who's hilarious, and Sister Taylor, Their awesome! We're having a blast here in Plymouth, seriously it's the best area ever! We've been busy talking to everyone and all the people here are so nice, we've met some awesome people and have had some great conversations. Lets just say Plymouth is on fire right now. We met this super cool guy David, we tracked into him and we asked him if he had a faith in Christ and he was like "I don't really know where I stand with Christ right now." Do you know how brilliant of an answer that is for a missionary? haha it's perfect. So we started talking about the book of Mormon and he was super interested, we brought one to him yesterday and talked about it a little more and he was super open to everything, he said he wanted some time to read it and he'll give us a call to tell us what he thinks, fingers crossed!! He's super prepared, he's totally gonna get baptized one day I can feel it. We also met this great family at the park, I swear that's where we do most of our finding, everything happens at that park, it's my favorite place ever! there's been weddings there for like the past 3 days, they also have this farmers market every Saturday. Yeah best place ever, especially for a missionary haha. Right now they're having scarecrows to advertise different businesses there, we were so close to asking if we could have a missionary scarecrow, seriously how awesome would that be? I'm pretty sure we'd have a lot of success haha. We saw Ryan again, I still love him to death. He missed church because he was sick so he didn't get the priesthood:( So we went to his apartment and took him a cupcake, it cheered him up a lot haha. I'm a little nervous though, he told us he was going to Tennessee on Tuesday and he'll be there for like 2 weeks. I'm not saying I don't have faith in the kid because I absolutely do but the last time he went to Tennessee he came back drunk... i'm allowed to be a worried mom right? I mean I raised the kid haha. Just keep him in your prayers. We also met with Jerry, he says he hasn't been smoking but he totally has. We can smell it on him and a couple days ago we caught him in the act but he lied and said he quit. ugh, I hate Satan with a passion. We're gonna work with him though, he said he wants to go to the ARP meetings so he'll get there, he still has time. I love him though, we took him to a devotional on Thursday and he met President Gerber, I told President in my emails how cute and amazing Jerry was and he wanted to meet him. He shook president's hand and said "Your girls really lay down the law don't they? They really opened my eyes." it was awesome and after he left president was like "he does have a cute smile." haha it was awesome! I have some sad news.. the Armstrongs are really stuggling. Sally had to go to a old persons home (whatever that's called) yesterday. Brian and Sister Armstrong are devastated, especially Brian, he called me and just broke down in tears...he loves his grandma so much and doesn't want to see her like that but he said that it was the only thing they could do. We went over there and took them cupcakes and we sang to Sally one last time and it was just terrible. Her birthday is Tuesday and she'll be 97, she's a trooper for sure, We're going to do something for her. ugh i love that family so much, here are some funny time from the last time we saw them: Me: "Sally, you're probably my favorite person ever." she looks at me confused: "You crazy haha." Sister Fillmore: "Okay we have to go, give me a hug." Sis. A: almost falls over. "Whoops look i'm falling for you." Sis A trips over her chair. "ugh stupid chair, Brian take this chair downstairs and burn it!" Brian and Sally have the cutest relationship in the world, they always mess around with each other but he's the one she trusts the most ugh i love them! keep them in your prayers too! Anyway aside from that it's been a really good week, I love Sister Kunzler and Sister Taylor, this is going to be a good transfer! Sister K is from Sandy Utah and sis T is from Ogden haha. Sis K has been out for almost a year and sis T is going home next transfer...i'm killing off a missionary again! Anyway We're already planning a fiesta when we get off our missions even though we're probably the whitest Mexicans in the world haha. Anyway have a great week i love you all and the gospels true!
