Hey everyone! So this week has been awesome! So for my birthday we went to the Holocaust museum, which I know doesn't sound very fun, it was depressing, but it was really interesting. There are a lot of Jewish people here so it talked a lot about the Jewish culture and stuff, it was awesome. Then we went to Panera Bread, which by the way, it the BEST PLACE EVER! I've wanted to go there my whole mission because they have them all over the place and they're a pretty big deal here. It's pretty much the same thing as Paradise but yeah it was really good. Then we had a really funny thing happen... So Sister Fe'ao lost her memory card and so we were looking and looking but couldn't find it so we said a prayer haha and after Sister Green goes "It's in the dumpster! I remember we took a lot of trash out and you had your camera with you." we all felt good about it so we thought it was the spirit...haha yeah no. We go out to the dumpster and it's pretty dark and we look in and there's like 1 bag in there and they thought it was their's so Sister Fe'ao jumps and gets on top of the dumpster haha and we're like "Dude what are you doing? I don't know if it's in there." and she's like "I'll do it for my memory card. I think it's in there." so she jumps in the dumpster and she starts looking in the bag of trash and it wasn't the right bag and there's nothing else in the dumpster so she goes to get out and she cant. haha she's short and the dumpster floor was a little icy haha so she got stuck in the dumpster! Seriously we spent like 40 minutes trying to get her out haha! Every time we tried to help her she would fall right back down and the dumpster was tall and we're all of course pretty short so we couldn't reach her very well. Sister Green and I were laughing so hard, and every time a car would come she would duck down because she didn't want anyone to see here stuck haha then a car came and parked right next to the dumpster. The lady in the car stayed there for a long time because she was texting on her phone haha so poor Sister Fe'ao is still stuck in the dumpster and this lady is not moving. So finally we decided to talk to her so we asked her if she could help us and she goes back to her apartment and gets a chair so she could climb out haha. I'm pretty sure the lady thought we were absolutely nuts! Haha then we go inside and she found it in her chair! Haha oh man it was the best birthday ever haha, we make jokes about it all the time how it all started with a prayer. Heavenly Father probably got a kick out of it too because we're really stupid haha. Then on Wednesday we had district meeting and the Livonia Sister's got all the mail that came to the apartment after I left and gave it to the zone leaders so they brought all the letters and the package to district meeting and sang happy birthday and it was awesome! So yeah my birthday was totally one to remember for the rest of my life haha. I'm having so much fun with Sister Green and Sister Fe'ao, we're sarcastic and make each other laugh all the time. It makes tracting a lot of fun haha. It's absolutely freezing outside! The coldest it's gotten is 2 degrees haha, oh yeah, you gotta love Michigan weather. I have like 4 pairs of tights on haha it's the best! See I missed the coldest winter ever last year so Heavenly Father thought that I needed to experience it too. We've mostly done a lot of tracting this week but it's been good and we've met a lot of people, Heavenly Father's going to lead us to someone who's prepared. I know we'll find the people who will accept the gospel. I love it and I love being a missionary! I also love all of you too! The gospel's true! SIster Gordon
