Hello my boss family and friends! So this week was a lot better than last week, still kind of slow but that just means we're waiting for Heavenly Father to touch some more hearts. Sister Haws it pretty amazing, I mean we've been together for two weeks now but I swear it feels like 5 haha, we get along really well she's the best! We went to the 4th of July party with the Kindey Family, us missionaries, and a couple people from the ward. It was really fun! We had a BBQ and after had some pretty boss fireworks oh yeah! There's also been an art fair for the past couple days up here by the lake so we've been doing a lot of contacting which is my favorite. The art booths were really cool, one of the members of our ward owns a wedding store so we went in and they took us around and showed us all the dresses, oh my goodness they are soooo pretty! We also got some really cool shirts and hats that this guy airbrushed, they're boss! My hat has my name on it and the Detroit D on it and my shirt has a Superman symbol and my name. it's kind of been a joke here, I joke all the time that I'm Superman in disguise because I'm short and have like no muscles whatsoever! So everybody in my district calls me Superman haha. We've also been hanging with this less active family, The Rennies, they're super cool! They got baptized like 3 years ago but don't go anymore so us and the Elders have been going over there a lot to gain that relationship with them so they'll feel more comfortable. They're hilarious! We took the three daughters with us to the art fair and they had a great time! We've also been going to see Mark's parents a lot. He's been doing really good, he gets out the 27th so we're planning to see him as soon as possible. The parents Gail and Rodger are super cool, they love hanging out with us and Gail and her daughter Renea, bought us a ton of stuff from bath and Body works! We're actually going to the mall with themtoday so I'm super excited about that. It was really awkward though because Rodger absolutely loves me and wants me to marry Mark haha, it was kind of funny to explain why I couldn't haha. He also wants me to sing for him because he found out that both me and Sister Haws sing haha so we'll see how that goes. We also had interviews with President on Wednesday and that was fun. When we were talking he asked me how I was doing and I said I was really loving it and he said he could tell. He said he could read people really good and he could tell that I was really in tune with the spirit and that God is proud of me. That was like the biggest compliment to me ever! He asked how Mark was doing and I started telling him how much I cared about him and his family and how much God loves him and the spirit was really strong! He asked what I thought about the people and that's where I lost it. I started crying...Aw man! I wish you guys could all be here with me to see how incredible mission life is! The love that I've been able to feel is crazy, the love that God has for all of his children just like blow my mind! I love everything about it ahhhh! if you can't tell haha. Also my district leader Elder Humphreys is freaking boss! He's super in tune with the spirit and he's from Cash Vallely haha he's a super cowboy haha, he's also the one that started the whole Superman thing. Anyway not a lot has happened this week but that's ok, I love being out here! Well I love you all and I'm so blessed to have you all in my life!
