Hello family and friends! Anyway so this week was pretty good. We found out that Mark gets out of prison on the 27th and he's going to have a ankle bracelet thing so he can't leave the house which honestly, I think this is the best thing for him. We've been talking with Rodger and Gail a lot and we're planning on being there as soon as he gets out so I'm pretty excited to see him again. We've also been seeing the Rennie family a lot this week. I don't know if I've already told you about them but if I have I'm going to tell you again haha. So their a less active family and so we've been working with them to help build their trust so that they will feel comfortable coming to church. We've taught them a lot and they are really accepting to a lot that we say and they all want to start coming to church again so that's cool! The only one I'm worried about is their daughter Becky Rennie, she's 20 and all she cares about is her boyfriend, who is kind of a jerk. She won't come to church if he doesn't go which he doesn't plan on going at all so it's kind of tough. We're just really trying to work on building that relationship and trust with her so hopefully it will work, keep her in your prayers please! Also you remember Patrick right? The less active who was in the hospital with the really grody hotel room? Yeah. He called a couple days ago and told me that the nurse that's taking care of him at home said that he was healing very well, better than usual. I told him that was awesome and he said he knew but he didn't know why God is helping him so much because of all the bad stuff he's done in his past. I told him it's because God loved him and he didn't care what he's done in the past, what mattered is that he was becoming a better person and God would help him as much as he could to help him return to him again. He started crying and asked why God cared so much and I said "Because you're worth it Pat, both God and I know that you're worth it." He started crying even more! I made a 40 year old man cry...I feel kind of awesome, not gonna lie. But I know that God was using me as an instrument in his hands to tell Patrick how much he loved him and it was an amazing experience. Another cool miracle I saw this week was Sister Haws and I are kind of really broke. We don't have like any money at all haha and we were kind of panicking because we still have a while before they put more money on our card. So we prayed about it and asked just to help us get through this week and we were talking to Rodger (Mark's dad) and he asked how we pay for everything while we're on a mission and we explained it. He then pulls out his wallet and hands us 200 dollars! He said that he was so thankful for everything that we're doing and he loves us a lot and he gave it to us. He also took us to get dinner and Gail is taking us to the malltoday to buy us an entire new outfit! We were is total shock, because they had no idea about how broke we were, we never told them anything and so I have no doubt in my mind that was Heavenly Father's hand in helping us get through. How freaking cool is that?! I know I say this like every week but in just keeps blowing my mind how much God cares about each and every one of us. He loves us so much and he will seriously do anything and give us any opportunity to come closer to him and be able to live with him again. I have such a strong testimony of God and Jesus Christ and how much they love us. I know that they live and are soooo aware of all of us, never forget that. We can turn to him for anything, he is the best source! I hope you guys have a great week! I love you all and the gospel is true! Sister Kellee Gordon:)
