Hey everyone! First of all HAPPY FORTH OF JULY!! and also HAPPY ANNIVERSARY RANDEE AND KYLE! I love you! I'm going to miss not being home for the 4th but Sarah's dad promised a firework show so I'm holding him to his word on that haha. So transfers happened and I'm staying here whoooot! I'm super happy about that I love Riverview and I knew I wasn't done in this area yet and apparently so did God haha. Sister Price is leaving though which is sad, I'm going to miss her! More exciting news is Mr. K is back! He really shortened his trip so we're seeing himtonight before Sister Price leaves which I can just see him saying. "Why do they do that to me, you can't leave me! I'm going to have to call that President of yours." haha in his greek accent of course:) So the next thing I'm excited to share with you is Mark. Did I mention I love that kid haha. So we saw him on Tuesday and we taught him about the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was super accepting towards it and he kept saying "I'm SO ready to get baptized!" It was the best thing ever! We talked a lot about faith and repentance and he said that he was ready to make the changes in his life. He also told us his story of before he met us. So he was sick of the life he was living, he kept saying how much he hated his life on drugs, he hated being controlled by something and so he basically prayed to God and asked him to help him get on the right track and a day later we knocked on his door! Can you believe that? He said after we left he was like "Thank you God for that." So we told him the potential we saw in him and I felt prompted to share what I saw with him the first time I saw him and that really made him happy. he said that we gave him hope and he knew it was God that sent us to him and so he said a beautiful prayer again. After that he said that he was leaving on Thursday to go to Memphus to go to a treatment center to get clean. He said that was God's hand again because normally it's expensive to get into those but he said that when he called they were like "Yep we have one more spot and we'll pay for all the funding and we'll pick you up on Thursday." That like never happens! Heavenly Father is so aware of all of us it's insane! so he's gone now and he'll be there for 30 days but once he gets back he said he's calling us so we're super excited for that. Also Carolyn's daughter's viewing was on Saturday so we went and visited her, she's so sad and it breaks my heart. We had a really good talk with her and hopefully it made her feel a little better. Also there's this thing that Michganders do where they have a car parade. It was the coolest thing ever! They blocked one of the main roads and a bunch of cool looking old cars drove up and down and it was really fun to watch. Somehow we ended up in the middle of it without meaning to haha so there were tons of awesome cars and then our ugly normal piece of crap car haha it was really funny and we felt really stupid haha. We're also teaching this less active Patrick, he was in the hospital having some surgery on his stomach, it looks really gross now haha. Anyway we would talk to him everyday and he said he needed help moving his stuff from a motel that he was staying at to his house he was moving into. He couldn't do it because he was still in the hospital and he said he wanted us to get some Elders to do it but we wanted to be nice so we just went and did it ourselves....big mistake. The motel was the most nasty thing ever! There were bugs EVERYWHERE so when you would walk all you would hear was CRUNCH! ewww! and on top of all that we went into his room and he is the biggest slob I've ever seen in my life. He had drugs everywhere, and clothes and food, it was disgusting. I called him to see exactly what he needed and when I moved his clothes there were WORMS sister Price and I were trying so hard not to say anything while he was on the phone and then after we got his stuff we ran out of there so fast! Ugh it was nasty! You have no idea how long I washed my hands for...no wonder he went to the hospital haha. Anyway this week was awesome as usual haha and I hope its amazing for you guys!
